Liz is a professional tour director, photographer, and traveler. She is so excited about this trip! Below is a loose schedule. Day 1: Welcome! Dinner with the group.

On this day we will take it easy. We will have dinner as a group then head over to one of the MANY Christmas markets! Hopefully in time for the tree lighting

Day 2: Walking tour with local guide.

This is a whirlwind tour to help you get an overview of Prague. We start at Wenceslas Square, wind our way through the ancient streets, find ourselves at the 400-year-old Astronomical Clock, views of Prague Castle, and cross the Charles Bridge. After the walking tour, we will stop for lunch and have free time. We will meet up later for the Christmas Market!

Day 3: Jewish Quarter and Prague Castle

The Jewish quarter is soaked in history. We will start early and visit the synagog, museum, and graveyard. I will give you the history and what to expect the morning of. After this, we will stop for a coffee then head to 9th Century Prague Castle. Here we will have tickets to explore on your own with an English headset guide. After will be free time and we will meet up for more Christmas Market!

Day 4: St. Vitus Cathedral, the Funicular, and Strahov Monastery

St. Vitus Cathedral is absolutely stunning. Build in 930 with the current construction 1033 this Cathedral will stick with you for years. From here we will go to the Funicular. This is so much fun. It is a gondola type of transportation that moves up the hillside slowly to a park that overlooks Prague. It’s a postcard view. We will then stroll down to Strahov Monastery where we will sip Ale from the monastery that started it all. We will take a tour of the inside of the Monastery and peek inside the amazing golden library! Afternoon free time. We will meet up for MORE CHRISTMAS MARKET! Dinner out together.

Day 5: Day trip to Cesky Krumlov

This two-hour train ride will take us to the ancient bohemian town of Cesky Krumlov. Here we will visit the Bone Church, literally a church made of bones, and walk the ancient streets eating, shopping, and sightseeing as a group.

Day 6: Free Day!

There is so much to do and see in Prague there is no way we will cover it all in just a week. For this day you can explore what interest you! I will give you suggestions on what to do, once we get to know each other a little bit.
